Raymond

Charlie Raymond, an NRCA past president and active roofing industry member, has passed away. He was 87.

Raymond was a Life Member, Bob Campanella Memorial Award recipient and past president of the Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (FRSA). He also was actively involved with NRCA, receiving the J.A. Piper Award and serving as the only NRCA president from Florida.

FRSA and NRCA have membership awards named after Raymond, who became chairman of NRCA's Membership Committee when the association had only 328 members and is responsible for recruiting many more. Raymond recruited the 1,000th NRCA member in 1973.
