NRCA filed suit against the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Feb. 11 regarding OSHA's new instruction that essentially eliminates the option of using slide guards in residential construction on roofs with slopes of up to 8-in-12 (34 degrees). NRCA is disappointed OSHA took this step without fully considering the roofing industry's concerns.
