Aerial measurement application is available for iPhone
Aerialogics LLC has made available its Aerial Measurements mobile application for the iPhone. Estimators and adjusters can order Aerialogics' aerial reports online by submitting a project's physical address. Aerialogics' computer-aided design technicians use the property's aerial images to construct 3-D models of a roof structure from which accurate 2-D diagrams of roof length, area and slope measurements are produced.
The application can be downloaded for free from the iPhone App Store. Estimators and adjusters who set up a free account on Aerialogics' website, www.aerialogics.com, can access and download the application and order, track and receive Aerialogics' aerial measurement reports.

The Garland Co. Inc. has introduced its Insul-Lock® E HR roof insulation adhesive, an elastomeric, one-step, volatile organic compound-compliant, low-odor, foamable adhesive that reportedly sets in minutes and is solvent-free.
Insul-Lock E HR bonds to a variety of substrates, including structural decks, approved base sheets, insulation board layers and properly prepared graveled surfaces. Additionally, it can be applied using a variety of pneumatic- or battery-powered, single- or multi-bead applicators.

The photo editor allows users to capture images of a property and highlight or mark areas of a photo with damage or weather icons or insert captions. NRLRC releases contract provisions
The National Roofing Legal Resource Center (NRLRC) has released Contract Provisions, Volume III, the third volume of 20 formal legal contract provisions in an easy-to-use format that roofing contractors can insert directly into their contracts, helping them save money in attorney drafting fees.
The contract provisions, written by attorneys and compiled by NRLRC, come with plain-language explanations. Contract provision topics discussed in this volume include compensation for delay, confidentiality of financial data, dispute resolution, interest and collection costs in the event of non-payment, outstanding disputed claims and change orders, and warranty terms.
Contract Provisions, Volume III is $225 for NRCA members and $375 for nonmembers. NRLRC members receive the book as a benefit of membership.
