Roof patch offers fast repairs
Kemper System America Inc. has introduced KEMPEROL® Roofpatch, a ready-to-use emergency patch kit to stop leaks and cover cracks and damaged areas.
The 10- by 18-inch reinforced fleece membrane is presaturated in KEMPEROL 1K-SF waterproofing resin and comes in a flat aluminum pouch with rubber gloves. The patch reportedly adheres tightly without a primer to bitumen sheets, PVC roof membranes, concrete, wood and metal; is rain-fast in 60 minutes; and can be walked on after 12 hours.

Drexel Metals Inc. has introduced siliconized modified polyester (SMP) coil and Galvalume® sheet residential products.

Warming products line expanded

The National Roofing Legal Resource Center (NRLRC) has released Contract Provisions Volume IV, which provides language you can insert directly into your contracts.
Written by lawyers and compiled by NRLRC, the contract provisions come with plain-language explanations you can understand. NRLRC's fourth volume of contract provisions includes 20 key issues, including compensation for delay; confidentiality of financial data; dispute resolution; interest and collection costs in the event of nonpayment; outstanding disputed claims and change orders; and warranty terms.
