The Garland Co. Inc.® has added interlocking container modules to its GreenShield® vegetative roof system technology; the modules encapsulate plant materials and underlying growth layers.
The GreenShield module system uses 46-inch square modules that feature pallet channels for fork-lifting and drainage perforations. The system's pallet channels also are said to serve as port ways for drainage and irrigation and provide air flow to plants' root systems.
