Komelon® USA Division has made available its line of Distance Measuring Wheels, which includes five models for indoor and outdoor use. Each model features an adjustable twist-lock handle, Traction-Sure polyvinyl tread wheel and gear-driven five-digit counter that is said to provide accuracy.
Distance Measuring Wheels consist of corrosion-resistant acrylonitrite butadiene styrene and PVC and reportedly will not deform when subject to extreme conditions. The wheels are said to be durable, lightweight and comfortable to use.

Coating protects seams
GAF Materials Corp. has introduced SeamCote,™ an elastomeric protective coating that is said to protect seams and penetrations on modified bitumen and built-up roof systems. SeamCote is based on TopCoat® technology and said to reduce the risk of blistering on a roof.
SeamCoat reportedly can be applied by roller, brush or spray as soon as asphalt has cooled. The product is said to be ultraviolet-resistant, improve a roof's appearance and reduce installation costs by eliminating granule sugaring of laps.

Underlayment prevents skids
Grace Construction Products has made available its Tri-Flex® Xtreme,™ a skid-resistant synthetic roof underlayment that uses Traction XT™ Skid Resistant Technology. Tri-Flex Xtreme has a high tensile strength and reportedly will not tear from nails or fasteners.
Tri-Flex Xtreme reportedly will not crack, dry or rot and can be used as a temporary roof covering for up to six months.

Hammer drill is efficient
