Measuring wheels offer accuracy

Komelon® USA Division has made available its line of Distance Measuring Wheels, which includes five models for indoor and outdoor use. Each model features an adjustable twist-lock handle, Traction-Sure polyvinyl tread wheel and gear-driven five-digit counter that is said to provide accuracy.

Distance Measuring Wheels consist of corrosion-resistant acrylonitrite butadiene styrene and PVC and reportedly will not deform when subject to extreme conditions. The wheels are said to be durable, lightweight and comfortable to use.

Generator is versatile

Triton Power Inc. has made available its Triton MG35, a 29-kilowatt John Deere rental-grade mobile generator set with a trailer. The sound-attenuated generator operates at 68 decibels and features an aluminum rust-proof enclosure and built-in fuel tank that is said to allow up to a 48-hour run time.

Coating protects seams

GAF Materials Corp. has introduced SeamCote,™ an elastomeric protective coating that is said to protect seams and penetrations on modified bitumen and built-up roof systems. SeamCote is based on TopCoat® technology and said to reduce the risk of blistering on a roof.

SeamCoat reportedly can be applied by roller, brush or spray as soon as asphalt has cooled. The product is said to be ultraviolet-resistant, improve a roof's appearance and reduce installation costs by eliminating granule sugaring of laps.

Underlayment prevents skids

Grace Construction Products has made available its Tri-Flex® Xtreme,™ a skid-resistant synthetic roof underlayment that uses Traction XT™ Skid Resistant Technology. Tri-Flex Xtreme has a high tensile strength and reportedly will not tear from nails or fasteners.

Tri-Flex Xtreme reportedly will not crack, dry or rot and can be used as a temporary roof covering for up to six months.

Coil nailer offers more power

Paslode® has introduced the Roofer's Choice™ coil nailer to its line of PowerSet™ pneumatic construction staplers. The nailer is said to offer 20 percent more power and consistently drive fasteners flush through layers of shingles.

Hammer drill is efficient

Metabo Corp. has introduced its SBE1010 Plus, a 1/2-inch hammer drill for steel, wood, concrete block, brick and solid concrete. The drill features a 1/2-inch Futuro Top keyless chuck that is said to allow quick and easy bit changes and provide secure bit clamping.

The SBE1010 Plus features an S-automatic safety clutch that is said to limit kickback during a bit jam. The hammer drill is 13 3/8 inches long and weighs 6.9 pounds.

Driver provides significant torque

Bosch Power Tools and Accessories has introduced its 10.8V Litheon™ IMPACTOR™ Fastening Driver, which is said to provide 800 inch-pounds of torque. The driver features a Bosch Motor and all-metal gears that are said to deliver 1,800 rotations per minute and 3,000 blows per minute.
