CertainTeed Corp. has introduced its Presidential Shake™ impact-resistant luxury shingle that features a sculptured tab for styling that replicates the depth and dimension of wood shakes.
The shingle has a fiberglass scrim on its back surface and two laminated layers, which are said to be tough and durable. The shingle reportedly can withstand the impact of a 2-inch steel ball dropped from 20 feet without cracking.
