Harnesses offer comfort and durability
FallTech has introduced its Tradesman+ and Contractor+ collections of full-body harnesses designed for all-day wear.
The body harnesses feature padded air mesh shoulder yokes with dorsal D-ring adjustments and spring-tension torso adjusters to provide comfort and durability. The Tradesman+ harness includes a Visi-lock chest buckle and 6-inch waist support positioning pad and offers mating or tongue-buckle leg-closure options. The Contractor+ harness type includes paired dual-fastening lanyard parks; a mating buckle chest closure; a 5-inch waist support positioning pad; and a choice of mating or tongue-buckle leg closures.
The Tradesman+ and Contractor+ harness collections are available in standard nonbelted and construction-belted models and are said to comply with ANSI Z359.11-2014.

Drill screw has 5/16-inch diameter
Triangle Fastener Corp. has added the BLAZER® 3 self-drilling screw to its BLAZER Drill Screw line.
The 5/16-inch diameter BLAZER 3 screw reportedly can drill and tap metal thicknesses up to 0.210 inches and features a 3/8-inch hex washer head that permits the use of existing tools for installation. Available in six lengths ranging from 1 inch to 8 inches, the screw can be purchased with or without a galvanized bonded EPDM sealing washer. All available parts are TRISEAL®-coated and said to offer 1,000 hours of protection against salt-spray corrosion. The 5/16-inch diameter BLAZER 3 screw can be used to replace 1/4-inch diameter screws in maintenance and retrofit situations.

Metal roof system is symmetrical
Morin, a Kingspan Group Co., has introduced the SymmeTry Roof Series, a mechanically seamed and symmetrical structural metal roof system designed for installation over an asymmetrical system.
The SymmeTry Roof Series is composed of panels that install side by side with a mechanically sealed cap to ensure a watertight fit. Four panel depths and three coverage widths reportedly are available, and vertical panel legs range from 1 1/2 inches to 3 inches in height.
