FiberTite^® Roofing Solutions has partnered with Columbia Green to offer a new vegetative roof system technology, FiberTite Green.

FiberTite Green uses FiberTite's high-performance single-ply roof membrane to provide a vegetative roof system that reportedly helps manage the quality and quantity of stormwater and reduces water pollution.

It is available in a tray or multilayer system.

Jacket has several heat settings

Software streamlines contractors' processes

H.I. Technologies Inc. has introduced Contractor Rush,™ web-based business management software designed to help contractors track leads, estimate project costs, view labor costs, print job proposals, upload photos and generate materials orders in one place.

The software incorporates roofing and other products, such as windows, soffit, gutters and doors, to improve contractor efficiency. The software uses cloud-based technology for easy updates and works on most platforms, including PCs, tablets, iPhones and Android devices.

Photovoltaic modules adhere to TPO

MiaSole has introduced FLEX 01-W PV, a flexible, large-format 210-watt solar module for TPO roof systems, and FLEX 01-N PV, a solar module for architectural standing-seam metal roof systems.

The photovoltaic modules' adhesive provides peel-and-stick installation systems that bond to TPO and metal roof systems, reportedly eliminating the need for racking, concrete ballast or rooftop penetrations. Weighing less than 0.7 pounds per square foot, the low-profile FLEX PV modules are said to be ideal for roofs with low-load capacities and buildings in high seismic areas.

Cleaning system saves water

Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance^® has teamed up with Legend Brands to offer RoofTec,™ a new system for cleaning white roof systems.

The system features nonabrasive, rotating water jets to remove dirt, mold and mildew from roof surfaces, reportedly using less than half the water of other cleaning systems. The system is said to capture nearly 100 percent of waste water runoff, and the cleaning solution is detergent-free and captured with the waste water.

Metal material mimics shake

Quality Edge has launched Matterhorn® Metal Roofing, a new line of steel roofing available in profiles designed to mimic shake, slate, tile and standing-seam roofs. The shake profile features 21 designs, and the patented four-point fastening system is said to conceal overlapping metal panels. All profiles reportedly can withstand winds up to 130 mph.

CertainTeed Corp. has introduced SmartFlash^® EZ Patch, a high-performance, self-terminating cold liquid-applied membrane for one-step repairs on bitumen, single-ply membranes, concrete, wood and metal surfaces.

The pre-saturated, self-adhering membrane reportedly is ultraviolet-stable, fleece-reinforced, odor-free and rainproof and eliminates the need for additional tools, primer and solvent.
