Slate roofing is lightweight

InSpire® Roofing Products has introduced InSpire Aledora Slate Roofing, a lightweight replacement for slate roofing materials.

The 12-inch slate-style tiles reportedly are authentically textured to prevent gloss on roofs, feature irregular edges and are available in an array of colors. The edges of the tiles reportedly create a natural shadow variance so they are indistinguishable from genuine slate roofing. The tiles are said to be much lighter than slate but reportedly are strong and impact-resistant. The tiles also are easy to install and can be nailed by hand or with a nail gun.
