Tripod light illuminates dark work areas

DEWALT^® has introduced its 20V MAX Cordless Tripod Light and 11-inch Corded/Cordless 20V MAX Jobsite Fan. The 20V MAX Cordless Tripod Light has three brightness settings and illuminates dark work areas with a maximum output of 3,000 lumens. The light's telescoping design reportedly sets up easily and collapses for portability and storage. The 11-inch Corded/Cordless 20V MAX Jobsite Fan delivers up to 500 constant fan speed at its maximum speed when powered with a 4.0h battery and also can run when plugged into a power source. Vent pipe flashing withstands winds

Quarrix^® has introduced its Quarrix Pipe Boot, a durable vent pipe flashing designed to help roofing contractors cover and protect plumbing vent pipes. Constructed of steel, the Quarrix Pipe Boot reportedly is ultraviolet-resistant, engineered to withstand frigid temperatures and frost damage by allowing air to circulate properly, and capable of withstanding wind speeds up to 110 mph. During installation, a user slides a Quarrix Pipe Boot over an existing venting pipe, nails it into place and twists the top to form a tight seal. The Quarrix Pipe Boot's telescoping sleeve is said to accommodate several pipe heights, pipe widths and roof slopes and is available in four colors. OMG^® Roofing Products has introduced its RhinoBond Plate Marking Tool designed to help contractors easily locate and mark RhinoBond Plates installed under thermoplastic membranes. Intended for use with TPO and PVC roof membranes, the tool is lightweight and easy to maneuver. When a user passes the tool over a properly installed plate, a temporary mark is left on the membrane's surface to identify the plate location. Plate marks are made with standard blue construction crayons and typically fade away within a few weeks. The tool is said to be compatible with all thermoplastic membranes regardless of type or thickness. The tool also features a reversible handle for quick direction changes and sweeper magnets mounted on the front and back to pick up metal debris. Kemper System America Inc. has made available three GreatSeal products: GreatSeal PE-150 multipurpose joint sealant, GreatSeal LF-100 Liquid Flashing and GreatSeal LT-100 Liquid Tape. GreatSeal PE-150 multipurpose joint sealant can be applied in cold weather and damp conditions as well as indoors. The single-component sealant reportedly is ideal for sealing joints in roofs, walls and masonry, as well as closing gaps around penetrations and flashings. GreatSeal LF-500 Liquid Flashing is said to be ideal for rooftop flashing, maintenance and repair applications. The polyether sealant can be applied using a brush, trowel or gun and reportedly can bond to metal, wood, masonry, plastic, fiberglass, glass and foam insulation in damp conditions. GreatSeal LT-100 Liquid Tape is compatible with Kemper System America's Wall Guardian FW 100A liquid-applied fibered acrylic air barrier. The flexible liquid tape is made from 100 percent solids and solvent-free polyether formulation. The liquid tape forms a seamless exterior working surface, and its blue color allows for quick visual verification that all seams and gaps are effectively sealed. Bimetal screws can tap steel

Triangle Fastener Corp. has introduced a line of stainless-steel bimetal self-drilling screws. The bimetal screws have heads and threads made from 304 stainless steel, which provides corrosion resistance and ductility. Featuring hardened carbon steel drill points and stainless-steel bodies, the screws reportedly are able to drill and tap up to 1/2-inch-thick steel. Self-retracting lifelines have steel cables

Honeywell has introduced its Miller Falcon Edge SRL series of self-retracting lifelines (SRLs) designed to prevent lifeline severance during a fall. Miller Falcon Edge SRLs feature steel cable lifelines with carabiners, taglines and integrated shock absorbers. Miller Falcon Edge SRLs can attach to any connection from foot level and above, including horizontal, vertical and overhead mounting. The SRLs have weight limits of 420 pounds and are available with 20-, 30- and 50-foot cable lengths.
