Proportioner saves time

Graco® Inc. has introduced its hydraulic Graco H-50 Foam Proportioner, a high-volume proportioner for spray polyurethane foam applications.

Membrane protects roof surface

Dow Hyperlast has introduced its VERDI-SEAL™ Green Roof Waterproofing System, which is composed of a primer, elastomeric membrane and wear coat and is said to protect against water leakage and accommodate complex roof system designs.

VERDISEAL Green Roof Waterproofing System's 80-mil-thick membrane reportedly seals roof surfaces and protects against leaching of mineral residue, garden chemical and oil spills, and root penetration. The system is said to reduce repair costs by allowing repairs to be made without removing the entire membrane.

VERDISEAL Green Roof Waterproofing System is liquid and reportedly can be spray- or hand-applied without hot bitumen or reinforcing sheets or flashings.

Curbs are available in larger sizes

Chem Link has introduced larger versions of its 3-inch-diameter MiniCurb to its ChemCurb™ System penetration seals product line. The product line now includes 6- and 9-inch-diameter E-Curbs.

Vent prevents heat buildup

Metal-Era Inc. has added the Hi-Perf Truss Vent to its Hi-Perf line of airflow products. The vent reportedly extends roof systems' service lives by preventing heat buildup and moisture accumulation under roof coverings.

Polystick MTS High Temperature underlayment is a homogenous, rubberized asphalt membrane with a fiberglass reinforcement. The underlayment is made using Polyglass USA's ADESO® technology and has a polymer-modified asphalt compound top layer and self-adhering compound bottom layer. The underlayment is said to be durable and environmentally friendly and withstand temperatures up to 265 F.

Spring reduces suspension fatigue

Firestone Industrial Products Co. LLC has introduced its Level-Rite™ air spring over damper suspension for 2003-08 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 4x4 pickup trucks.

Level-Rite is said to level the front end of a vehicle carrying a winch, snow plow, slide-in camper or Texas-style bumper or in other situations when extra weight is placed on the vehicle's front end. The product reportedly reduces suspension fatigue by preventing factory torsion bars from sagging under heavy loads. Level-Rite reportedly increases vehicle control and stability, improves ride quality and provides control of front ground clearance.

In addition, Firestone Industrial Products has introduced its Ride-Rite™ air helper spring kit for 2009 Ford® F-150® pickup trucks.

The Ride-Rite kit mounts between a truck's frame and suspension and reportedly helps maximize the truck's safe load carrying capacity, stability and ride quality. The air helper springs are said to level off-center loads by using individual inflation valves for separate side-to-side and front-to-rear adjustments. The kit is said to be easy to install.
