China roofing show was a success
NRCA co-sponsored China National Waterproofing and Building Materials International Association's (CNWBMIA's) sixth annual China Roofing & Waterproofing exposition June 12-14 in Shanghai. The event drew 10,000 attendees and 160 exhibitors from 14 countries.
As the event's co-sponsor, NRCA assists CNWBMIA in promoting the show to NRCA members and helps sell booth space to international exhibitors located outside China. NRCA also assists CNWBMIA when it attends NRCA events.
During this year's event, NRCA was able to attract new exhibitors for the 2009 International Roofing Expo,® which will be held in Las Vegas Feb. 1-5, 2009. Additionally, NRCA added a new member from China and sold several of its publications to a nonprofit organization that is working with the Chinese government to set standards for China's roofing industry.
China Roofing & Waterproofing 2009 will take place in Beijing Oct. 14-17, 2009.
