Submit your photos

Each month, Professional Roofing features a photo of a roofing-related event, person or project in its Close-up section. Readers are encouraged to submit photos, along with their descriptions or backgrounds, to be featured in the magazine. A $100 gift card will be awarded for photos chosen to be featured in Close-up.

Online education package available

NRCA members can save $230 by purchasing the Roofing, Energy and the Environment Series program package.

The online series consists of seven modules: Vegetative Roof Systems; Energy Codes and Rating Systems for Roofing; EnergyWise Tutorial and Case Studies; Cool Roof Systems; Photovoltaics and Roofing; Certificate Examination; and Energy Efficiency in Roof Systems. Sold individually, each module is $75 for NRCA members; the package, which includes all seven modules, is $295 for NRCA members.

Register for NRCA's 2011 International Symposium

NRCA will hold its 2011 International Symposium Sept. 7-9 in Washington, D.C., at the JW Marriot Hotel.

The symposium, which will be held in cooperation with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, Tenn., will include discussion topics such as high-performance roof systems; sustainable roof systems; roof systems incorporating renewable energy; energy efficiency; and life-cycle analysis of roof systems.

The conference is $995 for NRCA members and $1,095 for nonmembers. Registration is available online. Those who register before March 7 will receive a $100 discount.

NRCA offers membership deal

NRCA will deduct $100 from membership dues for companies who join NRCA by Jan. 31.
