You know you couldn't be as successful as you are without a core group of loyal employees. You also know that among those employees are field workers who serve as inspirations to their co-workers and always give their best to your company.
Now is your chance to recognize them. For several years, The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress has been honoring roofing workers through the Roofing Industry's Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards Program. This year, why not nominate one of your workers?
The awards program recognizes 10 outstanding roofing workers from various geographic regions. Winners will be notified in late 2007 and receive round-trip airfare to NRCA's 121st Annual Convention and the 2008 International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas Feb. 19-23, 2008, two nights' hotel accommodations, and complimentary conference registration and exhibit hall passes. There, they will be honored during NRCA's Luncheon and receive American Express gift cards and trophies.
But this year, there's even more incentive. Of the 10 winners, one will be chosen as the best of the best. Professional Roofing and OMG Inc., Agawam, Mass., are co-sponsoring this elite award category, which will include a special prize awarded by OMG and recognition from NRCA and Professional Roofing.
This year's deadline for entries is Monday, Nov. 12. Eligible workers include field workers up to the superintendent level. Award nominees must fulfill one or more of the following criteria: outstanding on-the-job performance; attracting new roofing workers and helping retain existing ones; contributions to a team effort; community service and volunteerism; or other noteworthy contributions and activities.
