Continuing its trend of providing innovative membership benefits, NRCA has launched its members-only NRCA app. Accessing the app content is easy: NRCA members and their employees can go to Apple's App Store or Google Play and log in using their existing user names and passwords from their www.nrca.net accounts.

The free app currently features nine of the most popular NRCA publications, including the 2015 volume of The NRCA Roofing Manual. The app also includes the NRCA member newsletters FMO, Industry Issue Update and 10@10. NRCA members can download the publications to their tablets, email content and share information via social media.

The app will be updated frequently and include all future NRCA publications as well as the other three volumes of The NRCA Roofing Manual. When a publication is updated, the new version will be appear on the app, meaning members always will have the latest versions of NRCA publications sooner than the hard copy versions become available. NRCA also is working on a mobile phone version of the app.

Members who do not have a tablet or choose not to download the app still can access the publications for free via shop.nrca.net. The publications will be posted in electronic formats for free download and sharing. In addition, all publications previously available in electronic formats will be available free to members. As always, hard copies of NRCA publications will be available for purchase.

During the 2015 International Roofing Expo^® (IRE), NRCA will demonstrate the app at its booth, No. 2033, and hold an Appy Hour to debut the new NRCA app. Appy Hour will be Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 3-4 p.m. If you are attending the 2015 IRE, NRCA invites you to stop by the booth to enjoy free appetizers as you watch a demo of the new app.
