What is your position within your company?
I am manager of Paradigm Partners, Medford, Mass.

What is the most unusual roofing project you've performed?
Working on the Coalition for Buzzards Bay headquarters. The project was a gut renovation of a historic building. The roof system was adhered TPO with leak detection and a built-in-place vegetative roof system using sedum mats. The project also included a small solar photovoltaic array.

Why did you become a part of the roofing industry?
I needed a job out of college, and I was offered a position at Carlisle SynTec, Carlisle, Pa.

What made you want to start your own company?
I wanted to focus on new offerings.

What is your favorite part of your job?
Business strategy

What are your favorite work-related and nonwork-related apps?
My favorite work-related apps are Salesforce, JetBlue, LinkedIn and various banking apps. My favorite nonwork-related apps are Facebook and the New England Cable News weather app.

What are the most high-tech things in your house?
Probably some of my Apple products

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I'd like to spend some time in Peru, as well as some of the ancient sites in the Middle East, including Egypt, Iran, Israel and Turkey.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I'd like to have the power to heal.

What are your biggest pet peeves?
My biggest pet peeve is when people communicate through email or a text message when the discussion deserves a telephone call or in-person meeting. A close second is text message shorthand and lack of punctuation in emails and formal communications.

What is your favorite vacation spot?
West Falmouth, Mass.

What is your roofing industry involvement?
I serve on Roof Integrated Solar Energy™ Inc.'s board of directors.
