Built in 1924, Louisiana State University's stadium has been referred to by Baton Rouge locals as "Death Valley." Cast concrete corridors trapped excessive heat during summertime, making the club level suites uncomfortable. In July 2018, LSU determined it was time to increase the level of insulation to combat the issue.

Calmar Corp., Kenner, La., installed 3 inches of Atlas EnergyShield® Pro on the ceilings and painted the panels and fasteners gray to match the corridors' concrete walls. When football fans returned to the stadium in the fall, they experienced improved temperature control from the streamlined insulation system that blends with the existing concrete structure.
