SPRI announces revisions to standards
SPRI has announced SPRI RP-4 2022, “Wind Design Standard for Ballasted Single-Ply Roofing Systems,” and SPRI NT-1, “Detection and Location of Latent Moisture in Building Roofing Systems,” are being revised and will be recanvassed for approval as an American National Standard.
SPRI RP-4 2022 provides a method of designing wind-uplift resistance of ballasted single-ply roof systems. It is intended as a design and installation reference for individuals who design, specify and install ballasted single-ply roof systems. It must be used in conjunction with the installation specifications and requirements of the manufacturer of the specific products used in the ballasted single-ply roof system.
