TAMKO® products join online product library
TAMKO Building Products, Joplin, Mo., has announced its roofing products now are presented as options in online home design platform HOVER®'s product library. HOVER enables homeowners, builders, contractors and remodelers to convert smartphone photos of houses into customizable 3-D models. HOVER users now can virtually place products from TAMKO Building Products' lines of Heritage® shingles, Elite Glass-Seal® 3-Tab shingles and MetalWorks® steel shingles on their 3-D house models. HOVER also provides exterior measurements for roofs, siding, windows and trim, enabling users to create detailed quote and material lists. Upon completion of their designs, users can share links of their 3-D models with contractors or homeowners.
TAMKO Building Products also has announced TAMKO Pro Certified Contractors now will receive 1 percent cash back from the purchase prices of qualifying products during 2018. Cash back earning begins when a TAMKO Pro Certified Contractor purchases a minimum 1,000 square feet of products; there is no limit to the cash back amount contractors can earn. Qualifying products include TAMKO Building Products' Heritage, Heritage Premium, Heritage Woodgate® and Heritage Vintage® laminated asphalt shingles; MetalWorks steel shingles; TAMKO Hip & Ridge; and various underlayment products.
In addition, TAMKO Building Products invites contractors to participate in its new rewards program, "Roof More. Get More." Between Feb. 15 and Nov. 15, contractors who purchase qualifying products from TAMKO Building Products can earn rewards and up to 30 chances to be entered to win the grand prize: a new ATV or a $15,000 travel voucher. The "Roof More. Get More." program runs in three periods during 2018; the first period runs from Feb. 15 to May 15 and features rewards such as YETI® tumblers and coolers. ROXUL now is ROCKWOOL
ROXUL, Milton, Ontario, has changed its name to ROCKWOOL in North America. On Jan. 1, the company officially adopted the name of its global parent company.
The rebrand applies to all segments and product lines of ROCKWOOL's North American stone wool insulation business, including commercial and residential roofing. The ROCKWOOL name and logo will appear in promotional efforts, marketing materials and packaging throughout the year. ROCKWOOL's new logo includes a graphic representation of a volcano; all ROCKWOOL products are made from volcanic rock. The new ROCKWOOL website can be viewed at www.rockwool.com.
Atlas® Roofing launches roadshow season
Atlas Roofing Corp., Atlanta, launched its 2018 Asphalt Life Roadshow season Jan. 17 in Omaha, Neb. The roadshow, "All Roads Lead to Atlas," will travel to nine major cities in the U.S. and host 15 mini-events in targeted markets. Visitors can learn about Atlas Roofing products and attend breakout sessions to learn about financing, hail and wind damage, and how to improve a company's website and social media presence. Prizes, including YETI® coolers, nail guns, Costa Del Mar® sunglasses, HD action cameras, Apple® watches and Duckett Fishing rod and reel combos, will be given away during each stop. The 2018 Asphalt Life Roadshow will stop in Milwaukee March 8 and Denver April 5, as well as Charlotte, N.C.; Kansas City, Mo.; Memphis, Tenn.; New York City; and Orlando, Fla., later during 2018. In addition, Atlas Roofing is hosting a yearlong contest for Atlas Pro™ Plus contractors. To qualify for a chance to win a red 1951 Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck, Atlas Pro Plus contractors can earn points by using tools available through the Atlas Pro Plus control panel and installing Atlas Signature Select Roofing Systems. The contest began Feb. 6 during the 2018 International Roofing Expo® (IRE) in New Orleans and continues throughout the year. Ten contractors will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the 2019 IRE in Nashville, Tenn., where one grand prize winner will receive the truck.
GAF renews partnership with HOVER® platform
GAF, Parsippany, N.J., and its parent company, Standard Industries, New York City, have renewed their partnership with online home design platform HOVER.
During 2016, GAF became the first roofing materials manufacturer to use HOVER's 3-D house model technology to enable contractors to save time and money during the home design process. GAF Factory-Certified Master Elite® roofing contractors also have access to the GAF e360 mobile app, launched by GAF and HOVER to give contractors exclusive access to product pricing, training resources and a suite of enhanced membership options.
KM Coatings rebrands
KM Coatings, Phoenix, a manufacturer of commercial-grade liquid-applied roof systems, has shared its rebranding efforts.
To support a growing customer base, KM Coatings is expanding its manufacturing capacity, investing in continuing education for roofing contractors through its new KM Academy and expanding its national team of roofing experts. KM Coatings' updated branding includes a new logo; packaging; website, www.kmcoatings.us; and tagline, "Quality Roof Systems for Professionals." KM Coatings' new branding officially unveiled at the 2018 International Roofing Expo® in New Orleans.

Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal receives honors
Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal, Tualatin, Ore., received two awards during the Daily Journal of Commerce's (DJC's) Phenoms & Icons awards program Dec. 14, 2017, in Portland, Ore.
The awards ceremony was established by DJC to honor the building industry's long-time leaders and recognize up-and-coming industry professionals expected to influence the future of architecture, engineering, construction, development, transportation, energy and sustainability in the region.
Mark Carpenter, CEO of Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal, earned an Icon award and Kendall Ekerson, marketing and business development manager, earned a Phenom award. The father-and-daughter duo were honored for their contributions within the commercial roofing industry, including their ongoing commitment to improving Columbia Roofing & Sheet Metal's company culture.

PIMA welcomes IKO Manufacturing
The Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association (PIMA) welcomed NRCA member IKO Manufacturing Inc., Kankakee, Ill., to the association Jan. 1. IKO Manufacturing is the eighth polyisocyanurate insulation manufacturing company to join the association.
IKO Manufacturing produces industrial roof membranes, liquid waterproofing products and polyisocyanurate insulation. The company has more than 3,500 employees and more than 25 manufacturing plants in Belgium, Canada, England, France, Holland, Slovakia and the U.S. IKO Manufacturing ships its roofing products to 96 countries around the world.

The Metal Construction Association (MCA) announced the winners of its 2017 Chairman's Awards during the MCA Winter Meeting held Jan. 23 in San Diego. The Chairman's Awards recognize MCA member companies whose exceptional building projects honor innovation and creativity while highlighting how metal products help achieve outstanding building design. Recipients are selected from projects submitted to Metal Architecture magazine's annual Design Awards Program.

The website gives members the ability to showcase their companies with detailed profile information, customizable project portfolios and contact resources. Users also can search for leads, track the statuses of projects and view training videos and answers to frequently asked questions.
Polyglass U.S.A. Inc. has launched its redesigned Q Rewards website, www.polyglassqrewards.com. The website's improved navigation and mobile device compatibility allows roofing contractors to more easily upload invoices to earn points for Polyglass U.S.A. purchases and redeem points for trips, event tickets and merchandise.
