MonierLifetile has grand opening
Irvine, Calif.-based MonierLifetile LLC recently celebrated the grand opening of its 44,000-square-foot (3960-m²) manufacturing facility in Henderson, Colo. The facility produces and distributes concrete roof tile throughout Colorado, as well as provides customer service.
"The opening of our Denver-area facility is the culmination of many months of effort by a large number of people, and we are excited to provide our Colorado customers a locally produced roof tile," says Michael Penny, MonierLifetile's president and chief executive officer.
Firestone donates scholarship money
Firestone Building Products Co., Carmel, Ind., donated $5,000 to the Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) Foundation during MRCA's 53rd Annual Convention and Trade Show. The donation will help the MRCA Foundation supply roofing industry scholarships. Firestone has donated more than $40,000 to the MRCA Foundation since 1995.
